Free Wind is our camps name. We kindly invite you to come over here to relax and spend your leisure time. The camping season usually lasts from early June until the end of September, depending on the weather.

Our campsite covers about 5ha and is situated 300m of the main road, A16. The distance to the capital, Vilnius, is 65km and to main regional city, Alytus, is 37km. From the camp site to Stakliskes it is only 5km westwards. In this village you can find the Lithuanian mead factory. When driving 5km eastwards you arrive in the centre of the regional park, Aukstadvaris.

Our camp itself is situated in a beautiful hilly area near the 'Lielius' Lake and near the 'Lepelionys' mound, known as "Napoleon's hat." Nearby meanders the old stone paved road which was used ages ago as stagecoach taxi and travel road to Vilnius for pilgrims and merchants from all over Europe. Near the campsite is Liesiskiu well, of which is being told that it has healing powers. Also located nearby is the hill named Sienakalnis, where pagans used to celebrate their feasts in ancient times. A few kilometres to the south flows the river Verkne, where kayaking trips are being offered.

At our camp site we organise music, cultural and sport events, involving different, interesting people from Lithuania and abroad.

We are looking forward to welcome you at camp Free Wind!
